In the Old Testament, Joseph was a man of vision. One vision God gave him was to prepare for the future (Genesis 41:25-36). The land of Egypt was about to experience a famine and Joseph instructed the king to prepare for it by sotring up resources against that day.
While North Brevard County is already experiencing some hard times, we anticipate harder times are still to come. The ending of the Space Shuttle Program will put extra economic pressure on the people of our area.
We too have a vision for preparing for this day. God has given some of the pastors of North Brevard an urgency to begin gathering resources to help people in their time of need just as Joseph did. This is the purpose for the creation of the Joseph Fund of North Brevard.
