Camel Conscious Christians
from Genesis 24 by Diana Green
A concerned king of a camp in Canaan commissioned his courier to contact a companion for his kid. The conscientious courier crossed the country with a caravan of camels until he came close to the capital of the Chaldees. Carefully he considered what kind of character could qualify.
“What a critical crisis!” he cried, “Lord, kindly conduct me to a companion who is courteous, caring, competent and committed.” He quickly caught sight of a captivating creature carrying crockery on her clavicle. “Can you quench my craving for a cool cup”, he called?
“Of course,” she commented kindly. With consideration she comforted the courier. Then, conscious of the camels, she continued to capably care for the complete convoy! Overcome by her compassion, the courier concluded that he had contacted the correct comrade. He covered her with costly contributions. Then he collapsed completely with cries of contentment and compliment to his Creator.
When he could control his quivering, he questioned, “could you commit yourself to be the consort of my king’s kid? You’d make a commendable couple.”
Convinced, she courageously consented. So he conducted her to the courts of his king in Canaan where she connected with her cavalier and completely captured his cardiac.
